My long weekend took me on a pilgrimage to our local village. A 1mile walk in the sunshine, and a chance for my little boy to has his afternoon sleep.
The reason, to visit our local church yard and Resting place of my wonderful Dad!!

Why blog you ask??
I love the spot, the countryside is so beautiful, and he rests in the embrace of an 800yr+ Yew tree. Peaceful and inspiring.
My Dad inspired me to visit lots of church yards who play host to some spectacular, old and mysterious Yew trees. This one is no exception… Shown are some photos of the tree.

Love you Dad x
