Yamadori Beech

I was going to wait to show this tree, but it’s doing really well in its time since collection.
This green Beech was collected early March. Growing in mulch ground on the forest floor. The root ball had lots of fibrous roots close to the surface, and the root stock grew over a root from a tall tree.
The tree fitted snugly into the washing up bowl. Raised a little from the bottom to give the roots some movement into fresh soil.
